Our programs dive deep into the current issues and trends in the academic research enterprise and provide highly-focused and action-oriented programs that give participants concrete solutions that can be immediately implemented.
The Vanderbilt Linkages Program is designed to respond to gaps in educational programming for researchers and administrators at research institutions, including faculty and staff members, students and postgraduates. These gaps include the essential elements of interprofessional and collaborative practice across a number of domains, including quality improvement, regulatory compliance, team science and research integrity. The Vanderbilt Linkages Program brings together a coalition of facilitators, speakers, mentors and participants to address important questions in these content domains. The program supports numerous conferences, workshops, webinars and other events that are held at Vanderbilt each year and include local, national and international participants.
Because it exists at the intersection of a number of functions and roles within the research enterprise, we see the Vanderbilt Linkages Program as a central nucleus for exciting, ground breaking work across contexts and domains within the research enterprise and connecting the research enterprise to larger contexts outside the research enterprise both within academia and beyond it.
